My last post was pretty word heavy so to document the rest of our time on Salina ill just let the photos run.
Arriving, it is a spectacular island
Exploring the island by scooter, the best way to travel
Hanging on the beach at Rinella, a small town on the other side of the island
Santa Marina, the largest town
Back to to Lingua, the town of my grandparents
Emotional farewells in the log book
A wedding in Santa Marina while waiting for the ferry
Until next time ciao
And just in case the photos didn't portray just how awesome Isole Salina is, here is a little edit of our time in Italy.
Lovely writeup mate, and great pics.
ReplyDeleteThanks Darren, much appreciated!
ReplyDeleteWow, they're great pics. I could go nuts with a polarizer with sunshine like that! Is it sunrise in the pink photos? Whatever time of the day it is it looks magnificent!
ReplyDeleteThanks Greg, I believe the polarizer was out for alot of the trip! I think the pink light was sunset, it was great kicking back with a vino watching the colours.
